About the Author

In the mid 80’s I received a letter. Black ink on a Texaco company tracing paper stationery. It was asking me how I was, how’s school, and that the sender would enjoy it if I wrote back. That’s to summarize four pages of love notes from my grandparents. I always liked reading the post script messages on the tail end of their letters. This one had “…in the box, you will find a book that we picked out for you and your brother.”

The book resides in another country now and is taken care of by my godmother. Boxed up with a bunch of other automobile books.  It has an orange fabric hardcover and has about 100 or so pages. I would think that it still has the dust jacket. Some little research here and there, this book would be worth something to a collector. Out of print and haven’t seen one new or used. Rare? Dunno. Maybe. It’s nice to know that I have it. My brother has no delight for things of the past and this has led me to believe that it is indeed all mine.

I like art, design and photography [o]. Although of all, photography is my passion. I enjoy taking portraits where emotion, body language and honesty is required.
